The hotplate contains an innovative high-tech polymer layer consisting of an ultra-thin high-density circuit of heating elements. This heat source radiates upwards, so that the hotplate is heated evenly and energy-saving to up to 245 degrees. The heating element also works as a temperature sensor, detecting temperature fluctuations on the entire grill plate surface, regulating the temperature accordingly, preventing uneven browning and thereby minimizing power consumption.
