The Leatherman Wave Alpha Multi‑Tool represents the next level in the iconic Wave series — refined with premium materials and fan-requested upgrades. It’s the first Wave tool to use a reverse-tanto blade made from ultra-high-grade MagnaCut® steel, offering exceptional edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. A newly designed thumb stud enables smooth, one-handed access to the blade.

The handles are made from machined G10 with a topographic-inspired texture for better grip, comfort, and style. Tools on each side deploy together, making it intuitive to pick the tool you need. For the first time in a Wave, Leatherman has included full-size, spring-loaded scissors — they provide the largest cutting surface ever on a pliers-based multi-tool.

The design honors the classic Wave legacy while pushing forward in materials, ergonomics, and usability.
